Agriculture Journal makes use of Online Submission and Online Review. No short communication letters or small paper could be accepted.
Every section of the article should have 2-cm margins on all four sides in Microsoft Word2003. If you have prepared your articles with any version of Office Word, please send a Word2003 version so that the referees will not face any problem in their reviews. Acceptable number of pages for each article is maximum 20 pages. When writing your papers, it is highly recommended not to use strange and unknown words.
Inside the article’s text, write numbers zero to nine in letters and numbers above 10 in digits (except for the numbers inside tables, figures, end-of-sentence referencing, and formula numbering). Also, in the article’s text as well as its abstract, the sign % should be written as the word “percent” (with the exception of tables and figures). In the primary stage, when submitting the article for review, the text need not to be in two columns and the article should be written in single column.
Footnotes should be added automatically and the borders around figures has to be omitted. Inside the figures, lines, displayed horizontally must be invisible.
Tables inserted in software programs such as Excel should not be pictures. There must be no space between a word and a period (.), comma (,), question mark (?), and parentheses (). Yet one space is needed after these signs. Also, punctuation rules have to be fully-obeyed.
Formulae need to be numbered and different sections of the article should be presented in paragraphs. For example, the introduction must not be presented as a long paragraph and the text has to be paragraphed thematically.
In the form related to authors’ information, fill the required information for each and every author. Mobile phone number and email address is necessary for everyone. When registering your article and adding all authors’ names and information, you should add them in order. The title “faculty member” is not sufficient for the academic rank. Instead, use the exact rank: “lecturer”, “associate professor”, “assistant professor”, and “professor”.
Different Sections of the Article
The order of article’s sections are precisely as follows: Introduction, Research Background, Methodology, Findings, Discussion, Conclusion, Recommendations, References
In order to be understandable to the reader, the article’s title should be brief and taken from the article’s content. It should not exceed 15 words. Do not use abbreviations in either the title or the abstract, except for standard scales. Abstract should be in one paragraph and maximum in 10 lines. Omit the authors’ names and details in the abstract. The abstract should explain the research’s problem, aim, methodology, and conclusion.
Give the keywords at the bottom of the abstract and type at least three keywords with their English equivalents (given in the English abstract) in alphabetical order. Please pay attention in choosing the keywords so that they will be practical, pivotal, and representative of the research’s subject. Avoid selecting common and repetitive words that put limit to the article’s search domain (after its publication).
The introduction as well as other sections should be written in accordance with APA style of writing.
Pay attention when giving information for figures and tables. The referee should be able to see enough information by studying the figures and tables alone (without reading the text).
No horizontal lines are allowed inside tables’ text. Three vertical lines suffice.
In order to give extra information for each table, you could use abbreviated signs †, ††, †††, etc. respectively, inside your table’s text, and bring them about beneath the table, itself, where you could give your explanations and necessary information to your readers. Prior to submitting the article, pay attention to the quality and clarity of the figures and pictures. They all should be completely clear and in high quality so that they could be readable in print and electronic versions.
If there has been no conflict of interest the following sentence should be added at the endo the article: “There has been no conflict of interest by the authors.”
Dear author/researcher, please pay attention to the following tip when presenting your references:
Please use valid and up-to-date references. Bring the works done in the last 10 years as references before that time are not acceptable. This limitation does not apply for protocols or laboratory instructions.
