Objective: Study of the promising plant Niger seed with the goal of oil production in PakdashtMethods: This research was carried out in the form of a split-split plot in the form of a randomized complete block design with three replications in the year 2021 in the Aburihan campus research farm located in Pakdasht. In this study, irrigation cycle in three levels (once every 7 days, once every 10 days and once every 13 days) as the main factor, planting date in two levels (5 June and 22 June) as a secondary factor and fertilizing with bio-fertilizers In four-level including control (without biofertilizer), Shift biofertilizer, Chris biofertilizer and the combination of Shift and Chris biofertilizers as sub-factors were considered.Results: The results showed that the plants cultivated on June 22 were superior to the plants cultivated on June 5 in all investigated traits (including yield components, seed yield, and biological yield) and all three tested irrigation levels. Also with increasing levels of drought stress, the seed yield has significantly decreased in both planting dates under investigation. However, the ratio of seed yield reduction under drought stress was significantly lower in plants cultivated on June 22nd compared to those cultivated on June 5th.Conclusion: The cultivation of seed Niger plant with the application of Chris biofertilizer in the same weather conditions on June 22nd, is recommended as a promising plant that has an acceptable yield from an agricultural point of view and its product has a high oil content.

In order to investigate the effects of foliar application of amino acids fertilization and mycorrhizal fungi symbiosis on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of Calendula officinalis L., a factorial layout has been conducted, based on a randomized complete block design with three replications at the field of the research farm of Islamic Azad University, Takestan Branch during 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 years. Experimental factors include three species of mycorrhiza fungi (control, Glomus mosseae, G.etunicatum and G.intradices) and Soren amino acid fertilizer levels (this commercial compound contains a variety of essential amino acids for the plant) include no foliar application and foliar application in two stages of stem and flowering. The results show that inoculation with mycorrhiza species has been significant for all studied traits in this test. Also, the effect of amino acid fertilizer has had a significant effect on all traits, except essential oil percentage and extract yield. Among the mycorrhizae used in this experiment, Glomus mosseae is able to be superior over other fungi in most traits. The highest seed yield is obtained from amino acid fertilizer and Glomus mosseae with 2343 kg / ha and the highest essential oil yield is in Glomus mosseae with 7.74 kg / ha. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the use of amino acid fertilizers with inoculation with mycorrhiza has a positive effect on the traits of marigold.

The present study investigates the effect of combined application of biochar, Azospirillium lipofrom bacteria and nitrogen in two flooding and intermittent irrigation methods on yield and yield components of rice (Oryza sativa L. cv. ‘Tarom Hashemi’). The experiment is done in split-split plot arrangement based on a complete randomized block design with three replications at the research farm of Sari Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University between two consecutive years of 2017 and 2018. The treatments are two irrigation methods (flooding and alternation irrigation regimes) as main plot and nine fertilizers levels (100%, 75%, and 50% nitrogen in combination with control (without biochar), 20 and 10 tons of biochar per hectare) and seedling inoculation with Azospirillum lipoferum (inoculation and non-inoculated control) as sub and sub-sub plots, respectively. According to the significance of the studied factors’ effects on the measured traits, application of 20 tons of biochar along with 75% to 100% of the recommended nitrogen show the greatest impact on rice yield and yield components in both intermittent and flooding irrigation methods. Since, the effectiveness of biochar in imtermittent irrigation is more significant, it can be concluded that the application of 20 tons of biochar per hectare plus 75% to 100% of the recommended nitrogen could greatly compensate the yield reduction due to reduced water consumption in intermittent irrigation, compared to the flooding irrigation.

To assess the effects of bio-fertilizer and some of microelements on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of sorghum (var. Pegah), this experiment was conducted at the research farm of the University of Tehran (Karaj-Iran) in 2011. The experiment was arranged as split plot based on complete randomize design block with four replications. Two levels of mycorrhiza (inoculated and non-inoculated) and three levels of foliar application of iron (zero, four and eight per thousand) along with three levels of application of zinc (zero, three and six per thousand) were allocated to main and subplots respectivly. The results indicated that inoculation with mycorrhiza and application of micronutrients had positively significant effect on dry yield, plant height, shoot weight, leaf weight, crude protein, water soluble carbohydrates and ash (p<0.01) and reduced acid detergent fiber (p<0.05). However, foliar of Fe and Zn had no significant effects on root colonization. Also, investigated factors had no significant effects on number of leaves. The treatment of mycorrhiza and foliar application of the Fe and Zn in concentrations of four and three per thousand (respectively) produced the maximum of dry yield. This treatment increased yield by 40% compared with control. Based on the obtained results, treatment of myco-Fe4Z3 can be recommended for increasing yield and improving qualitative characteristics of forage sorghum (var. Pegah) in Karaj region.

To evaluate effected of supplemental irrigation and seed priming on yield and some quantity and quality characteristics of vetch (Vicia dasycarpa) rainfed maragheh cultivar, an experiment was carried out at the Research Farm of Faculty Agriculture of Urmia University, West Azarbaijan province, Iran, during 2011. The experimental design was split-plot, laid out in Randomized Complete Block with three replicates. The main plots were without supplemental irrigation (I1), one times supplemental irrigation (I2), two times supplemental irrigation (I3) and three times supplemental irrigation (I4). The subplot included four levels of seed priming: Control (C), Water (W), Phosphate (P) and Nitroxin (N). Plant height, Pod number in stems, 1000-grain weight, biological yield (6.83 t/ha) and harvest index were influenced by the supplemental irrigation. Plant height, 1000-grain weight in second and third harvest and harvest index were influenced by seed priming. Maximum and minimum 1000-grain weight was observed in N (40.66g and 14.72) and C (37.05g and 10.36) seed priming, respectively. As a result, applying two times supplemental irrigation and seed treatment with phosphate and nitroxin had positive effects on quality and quantity yield of vetch.

Due to importance of nitrogen on the agronomic traits of linseed oil, a factorial experiment was conducted in randomized complete block design with three replications at the field research station of Faculty of Agriculture at Shahrekord University in 2012. Five different treatments of fertilizer including urea, azomin, nitroxin, supernitroplus and control (without nitrogen) as the first factor and three ectotype of Iranian, French and Canadian linseed as second factor were evaluted. The results showed that, ecotypes and fertilizer treatments had significant effects on the plant height, leaf number, number of lateral branches, number of capsule, shoot dry weight per plant and grain yield per m2. The maximum leaf number, number of lateral branches, number of capsule and shoot dry weight per plant were observed in French ecotype, while for the other traits, Iranian ecotype had priority. The traits measured under the chemical nitrogen treatment (urea) was greater than other fertilizer treatment. Although the resonse of linseed to biological and organic nitrogen was lower than chemical nitrogen but it was significantly higher than control. Thus, application of biological and organic nitrogen, due to less environmental pollution, is reasonable compare to chemical fertilizer.

In order to determine the effects of applied phosphate bio-fertilizer on yield and morphological traits of wheat, a research was conducted in Sari Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University during 2008-2010. A factorial experiment was performed based on randomized complete block design with four replications. The first factor consists of two levels of phosphate bio-fertilizer (0 and 100 g ha-1) and the second factor was three levels of phosphate fertilizer (0, 60 and 90 kg ha-1). Results showed that bio-fertilizer increased significantly grain yield, spike/m2, seed /spike, spike length, 1000 seeds weight and harvest index, however, had no significant effect on plant height. There was no significant difference between 60 and 90 kg ha-1 phosphate fertilizer treatments obtained with 100 g ha-1 bio-fertilizer (528.40 and 532.95 kg ha-1 respectively) in term of total grain yield. Therefore, application of 60 kg ha-1 phosphate fertilizer with bio-fertilizer instead of conventionally using phosphate fertilizer in Mazandaran (90 kg ha-1), not only save nearly 30 kg ha-1 phosphate fertilizer, but also prevent soil and water pollutions.
